In September 2022 I teamed with the Illinois Gun Violence Prevention PAC (G-PAC), the state’s leading gun violence prevention organization, to launch the Halt The Assault campaign to pass this historic legislation that goes to new lengths to keep Illinois children and families safe.
This integrated surround-sound campaign reached people online and in the press by delivering a steady drumbeat of content across social media, email, earned media, and paid digital advertisements. The online advertising strategy included dynamic video and static creative delivered across CTV, programmatic, and social advertising platforms.
In addition to maintaining an influx of engaging content across social media channels and email and securing earned media coverage across national and local news outlets, we executed a successful multi-channel online advertising strategy for the Halt The Assault campaign resulting in the following:
Over 1.3 million impressions
Reach over 320,000 Illinois constituents and lawmakers
Drive over 6 thousand clicks to the campaign website
Generate over 6,000 emails sent over the course of just two months from constituents to key Illinois lawmakers encouraging them to act.
